Immunity 101

A strong immune system is essential for maintaining good health and fighting off illnesses. There are several ways you can boost your immune system.

Maintain a healthy diet. Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins can provide your body with the necessary nutrients to function properly. It's also important to limit your intake of processed foods, sugar, and unhealthy fats.

Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep can weaken your immune system, making it harder for your body to fight off infections. Adults should aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

Exercise regularly. Regular exercise can help improve your immune system by reducing stress levels and promoting the circulation of immune cells in your body.

Manage stress levels. Stress can have a negative impact on your immune system. Find ways to manage stress, such as practicing yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.

Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. By following these tips, you can boost your immune system and improve your overall health.
