Homemade Baby Wipes | Budget Edition
Making your own baby wipes can be a great way to save money and reduce waste. Here's how to make your own baby wipes at home:
Ingredients:
1 roll of paper towels (choose a strong and soft brand)
2 cups of warm water
2 tablespoons of baby shampoo or body wash
1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional)
Instructions:
Cut the paper towel roll in half using a sharp knife.
Mix the warm water, baby shampoo or body wash, and coconut oil (if using) in a bowl.
Place one half of the paper towel roll into a container with a lid. Pour the mixture over the paper towels.
Allow the liquid to absorb into the paper towels for a few minutes.
Once the liquid has been fully absorbed, remove the cardboard tube from the center of the roll.
Pull the wipes from the center of the roll and use as needed.
Store the wipes in an airtight container to keep them fresh. This recipe can be adjusted for your personal preference - you can use a different soap or oil if you prefer, just make sure to test it on a small area of your baby's skin first to make sure they don't have an adverse reaction. Making your own baby wipes is a simple and cost-effective way to care for your baby while also being environmentally friendly.
Live well, be well.
